"We, the Democrats of Florida, united in
common purpose, hereby dedicate ourselves to the principles which have
historically sustained our Party. We recognize that a political party
which wishes to lead must listen to those it would lead, that a party
which asks for the people's trust must prove that it trusts the people,
and that a party which hopes to call forth the best the state and nation
can achieve must embody the best of the state's and nation's heritage
and traditions.
The Florida
Democratic Party, at all levels, shall encourage voter registration
without discrimination on grounds of race, color, creed, sex, age,
national origin or physical disability.
What we seek for our state and nation
we hope for all people: individual freedom in the framework of a just
society; political freedom in the framework of meaningful participation
by all citizens."
(Preamble of the charter of the Florida
Democratic Party as amended on July 15, 1998.)

P.M. we are holding
our monthly meeting at the Spirit of the Suwannee. We went to the
SCC this weekend and learned we have a lot of work ahead. We have
elections in less than three months! That's not a lot of time to get our
people elected. The rethuglicans have a lot of money but we have
brains and can out work them. It's time to get off our asses and
get to work. State Representative Debbie Boyd is coming to our
meeting to ask our help. She's a really good representative and it
would be in our best interest to show up and help her out!
The Suwannee Democratic Executive
Committee neither supports or criticizes any candidate running against
another Democratic candidate or any candidates running for non political
offices.
Bylaws
State Representative Debbie Boyd, "Thank
you!"
We love it when you come to our county,

great job in the Florida House of Representatives. If we can help you in
any way, please don't hesitate to ask.
